Happy International Women’s Day to all the incredible women out there! Today, we honor the fierce, kind, strong, confident, and resilient souls who shape the world around us. Being a woman means overcoming fears, embracing our unique bodies, and stepping into each other’s shadows to uplift and empower. 

It means standing together, running towards the light, and holding each other through every stage of life—at the beginning, through the journey, and at the end. We run towards each other and with each other in unison. We lift each other up and catch each other on the other side. We praise other women for their strength in moments of doubt and lift their spirits in moments of pain.

To be a woman means the only person you need to be is you. We all look different, sound different, and act different—but that is what makes us beautiful. We are radiant in every shape and size, and our hair and skin is gorgeous in its own unique color. 

Each woman is our sister in this life, and we help her shine by encouraging her natural beauty and helping her feel comfortable in her own body. A woman’s smile is infectious, and her confidence is contagious.

We are meant to be unique, and that is the beauty of womanhood. We feel special in who we are. We don’t compare, we inspire.

That’s why we created different styles—our designs were meticulously crafted for every body tone, shape, and size. We breathe inspiration and give women around the world the confidence to be themselves.

We are guided by the foundations laid by our grandmothers and the endurance of our mothers, who raised warriors, fighters, and survivors. They are the pillars upon which we stand, carving a world for the next generation of goddesses.

At San Lorenzo Headquarters, we asked our SL Angels who the most inspirational women in their lives were. Their heartfelt responses reflect love, connection, and the stories of heroines who have shaped them:

Bella: “An inspirational woman for me is my sister. She’s become a new mom, and I’ve learned so much just by watching her grow and raise kids on her own.”

Gabby: “My biggest inspiration is my best friend, Halley. She helps me be the best version of myself. She inspires me every day, and I don’t know where I’d be without her.”

Sydney: “My mom is the most inspirational person I know. She has taught me to be courageous, to stick up for myself, and to be the light in the room.”

Lonnie: “My great-grandmother is my inspiration. She raised me to embrace my culture and to speak Hawaiian. She is the foundation of our family.”

Kaya: “My mom is my greatest inspiration. She gave me the gift of life and inspires me to be the person I am today.”

Our social media manager, Candace, shared that her biggest inspiration is our very own SL founder for building this brand. Her dedication, intelligence, and unwavering passion have made San Loranzo a brand success.

The stories of these women remind us that our mothers, sisters, friends, and grandmothers are our everyday heroes. They encourage us to be ourselves, to shine brightly, and to stand up for one another. 

They give us life and teach us to embrace our identity with pride. Our great-grandmothers, the strongest of them all, remind us to honor our roots and keep our cultures alive, giving future generations a sense of belonging and family.
